Who are we?

The Craft Pottery is an independent pottery painting studio in Glasgow’s city centre, bringing people together since 2015.

Choose a blank piece of pottery, get creative and paint it however you like, leave it with us to glaze and fire, then return to pick up your masterpiece!

Oh, and we’re BYOB with NO corkage fee, for an inexpensive and totally unique night out (or in).

We are a proudly women- and queer-led business - creating a safe, fun, and accessible space for all! Whether you are a sceptic, artist, dabbler, hobbyist, or professional, we can guarantee a good time will be had! You can read more about our accessibility here.

Booking Info

We have no corkage fee for our BYOB policy.
(We won’t charge you to drink!)

We don’t host kids’ birthday parties.

Our £5 “Studio Fee” covers your 2-hour painting slot, all the paint used during your session, plus the full glazing and firing cost for your pieces!

You must purchase your pottery piece separately on your visit.  
Average total spend £20*

Pottery pieces mostly range from £4 to £40, with most items priced between £10 and £20.

We have over 100 different pieces to choose from, imagine plates, mugs, bowls, jugs, vases, planters, lanterns, homewares, kitchenwares, platters, figurines, and so much more!

Stock changes weekly, so please let us know if you would like something specific on your visit ahead of time.
